The Zhuofang Heavy-Lift Helicopter ZF500 features a plateau-adapted engine selection, a plateau-optimized rotor system design, a completely reconfigured aerodynamic profile, and a redesigned airframe and blade structure. It boasts high hover efficiency (17%-30%). The tailless rotor design eliminates the risk of tail rotor failures and allows for the addition of a propulsion system at the rear, enabling high-speed flight capabilities. The helicopter is compact in size (60% smaller), structurally streamlined, easy to transport, and requires minimal takeoff and landing space. With engines of the same class, it offers a larger effective payload.

The symmetric aerodynamic characteristics provide excellent maneuverability (with higher acceleration capabilities) and strong wind resistance. Its lifting capacity ranges from 200 to 300 kg, with an endurance of 5 hours, making it suitable for heavy-lift operations in high-altitude plateau environments.
