Pile Diameter Sonar Detection and Imaging Instrument

  • Description

In the ultrasonic pile diameter detection system, the FPGA minimum system within the pile communication and measurement module utilizes its internal logic resources to generate high-precision short-pulse signals. These signals are amplified by the drive circuit to precisely control the switching state of the full-bridge inverter circuit, thereby enabling efficient ultrasonic emission from the transducer. The emitted ultrasonic signals travel to the pile wall and return along the original path. The reflected echo signals are amplified, filtered through a bandpass filter, and then sent to an analog-to-digital converter for sampling and quantization, converting the analog echo signals into digital signals. These digital signals are transmitted via a data bus to the FPGA minimum system, where an echo processing program extracts features and calculates the time difference to derive pile diameter information. The data are then transmitted in real time to the ground communication system via a single bus.

The ground communication system serves as a bridge for information exchange between the ground and the equipment inside the pile. On one hand, it converts command signals from the ground human-machine interaction system and transmits them through the drill rod of the high-pressure jet grouting pile equipment to control the operations of the internal pile equipment. On the other hand, after the internal pile detection equipment completes the borehole diameter measurement, it transmits the relevant data back through the drill rod and feeds it to the ground operator, achieving two-way information communication.

The human-machine interaction system can receive and display borehole diameter data in real time. The left side of its interface shows depth variations, while the right side visually presents the borehole diameter morphology in a “2D pile diameter schematic.” Key data such as “average pile diameter” and “current depth” are clearly marked, assisting engineering personnel in accurately monitoring the formation of the pile and ensuring construction quality.
