This conference aims to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council regarding the development and utilization of urban underground space, delve into the “Guiding Opinions on Exploring and Promoting the Development and Utilization of Urban Underground Space” issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources, accelerate the orderly development and high-quality growth of urban underground space in China, fully unlock the potential value of underground space resources, and promote high-quality socio-economic development.

The conference is organized by the China Society of Development Strategy Studies, the Mineral Resources Research Institute of the China Metallurgical Geology Bureau, and the Underground Space Planning Branch of the Urban Planning Society of China.
