Liang Wenhao, Director of the Underground Space Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies, expert in tunnel and underground engineering. Primarily engaged in research on the construction of long-span mountain-crossing tunnels in complex mountainous areas, as well as tunnel construction and TBM construction technologies under special geological conditions such as plateau permafrost, collapsible loess, and windblown sand. Born in Shanghai in September 1941. Graduated from Tongji University in 1965. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005.
