Qingdao Geological Engineering Survey Institute
Qingdao Geological Engineering Survey Institute was established in 1992 and is affiliated with the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration and Development. Located in Laoshan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, it has been recognized with honors such as Provincial-Level Civilized Unit, AAA-Level Integrity Unit, the Labor Award for Enriching the People and Revitalizing Shandong, the Workers’ Pioneer Award, and the Advanced Collective in Drought Relief and Well-Drilling Work in Northern China’s Land and Resources System.
Qingdao Geological Engineering Survey Institute is a public welfare Category II institution at the departmental level under the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration and Development, and also operates under the name of Qingdao Geological Exploration and Development Bureau. Its main responsibilities include: undertaking basic and public welfare geological surveys and mineral resource exploration; providing technical support for natural resource surveys, evaluation, verification, and planning; offering technical support for the investigation, evaluation, monitoring, early warning, prevention, and emergency response of significant geological hazards; conducting related inspection, testing, and geological experiment analyses; engaging in geological environment monitoring, territorial spatial planning, and surveying, mapping, and geographic information tasks; and carrying out research related to geoscience.
