The 19th Annual Conference of the Associated Research Centers for Urban Underground Space (ACUUS 2025) and the International Underground Space Conference will be held from November 4 to 8, 2025, in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The conference is co-hosted by the Associated Research Centers for Urban Underground Space (ACUUS), the University of Belgrade (UB), the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering (FTTE) of the University of Belgrade, the Urban Institute of Belgrade (URBEL), and the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia (IAUS). The event will bring together representatives from the global urban underground space sector for topic exchanges and technological and equipment exhibitions.
As an institutional member of ACUUS, the Underground Space Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies encourages member units to actively send representatives to participate in the conference, aiming to enhance exchanges with international peers.

The Chinese Society for Urban Studies was founded in 1984 and is under the administration of the China Association for Science and Technology. To address the needs of healthy urbanization and urban scientific development in China, it organizes members to conduct comprehensive research on major theoretical and practical issues in urban society, economy, culture, environment, and planning, construction, and management.
The Underground Space Professional Committee (USC) of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies was established in 2023 as a branch directly under the society. It is chaired by Liang Wenhao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and was jointly initiated by renowned domestic and international experts, scholars, and leading enterprises in the field of underground space. The committee advocates for the important role of underground space in urban science, encourages interdisciplinary integration, promotes exchanges, cooperation, scientific research advancements, and technological innovation in the field of underground space both in China and internationally, and supports the high-quality development of the underground space industry.
