Accelerating the establishment of a standard system in the field of underground space is an important task of the Underground Space Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies (hereinafter referred to as the “Professional Committee”). The planning work for the formulation and revision of the first batch of standards of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies for the year 2023 has commenced. The Professional Committee calls upon all members and member units to actively submit applications. Relevant matters regarding the application and approval of standard formulation and revision projects are hereby notified as follows:
(1) Focus on market demand and technological innovation in urban science-related fields, emphasizing forward-looking and pioneering new technologies, methods, and equipment in areas such as urban environment, urban planning, construction management, architectural engineering, and building products.
(2) Encourage the conversion of local standards that require nationwide promotion and application into Society standards.
(3) Encourage the conversion of non-public welfare recommended standard projects from existing national and industry standards, such as those listed in the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Issuing the ‘Catalogue of Current Recommended Engineering Construction Standards That Can Be Converted into Group Standards (2018 Edition)’” (Document Jianban Biaohan [2018] No. 168), into Society standards.
(4) Must comply with relevant laws, regulations, and mandatory standards.
After downloading and completing the attached “China Urban Science Research Association Standard Project Application Form,” the applying unit should first send the electronic version of the application materials to the secretariat of the Professional Committee for preliminary review. The Professional Committee will then collectively submit the materials to the secretariat of the Standardization Committee of the China Urban Science Research Association for final review.
(一) Please submit the electronic version of the application materials to the Professional Committee Secretariat’s email address, dxkj@chinasus.org, by June 8, 2023 (the email subject should follow the format: “Group Standard Name + Applicant Unit”).
(二) The application form and its attachments must comply with the provisions of the Rules for Completing the Group Standard Project Application Form of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies (Trial).
