To All Members and Member Units：
In order to effectively carry out the planning for the formulation and revision of standards for the first batch of 2024 by the Chinese Society for Urban Studies, the Underground Space Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies is now soliciting proposals for standard project topics from its members and member units. The relevant matters regarding the application and approval of standard formulation and revision projects are hereby notified as follows:
(1) Focus on market demand and technological innovation in urban science-related fields, emphasizing forward-looking and pioneering new technologies, methods, equipment, etc., in areas such as urban environment, urban planning, construction management, architectural engineering, and building products.
(2) Encourage the conversion of local standards that require nationwide promotion and application into Society standards.
(3) Encourage non-public welfare recommended standard projects from existing national and industry standards, such as those listed in the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Issuing the ‘Catalogue of Current Recommended Engineering Construction Standards That Can Be Converted into Group Standards (2018 Edition)'” (Document Jianban Biaohan [2018] No. 168), to apply for conversion into Society standards.
(4) Must comply with relevant laws, regulations, and mandatory standards.
